The Social Justice Committee of the First Unitarian Church Omaha, meets at 12:20pm on the first Sunday of each Month.   We normally meet in the Merit Lounge at the Church.   We were previously known as the Omaha Outreach Committee. Our committee chair is Cath Haftings.   Please join us.

The Social Justice Committee presents the Social Justice Minute during the 11am Service each Sunday.   Cath Haftings and Liz Stawycznyj have led the way on this project.   We invite others to participate in this project by selecting or writing a short inspirational item.   Click Here  for the Social Justice Minute Archive.

Once again, First UU volunteers will be helping out with serving the evening meal at Siena/Francis House, Saturday, March 6, between 5 and 7 pm.   The Seina/Francis House is located on the northwest corner of 17th & Nicholas St.   Nicholas St. is two blocks north of Cumming St.
